A little bit about us

Hi I have a 6month old boy named Luke who is super sweet. I am currently working 2 days ( Wednesday and Friday. Maybe changing my Friday to Monday). 7:30-4pm. looking for something to watch/play/feed/change and entertain my little guy when I’m at work. We have two dogs that are home inside and out. Not expected to do anything with them but maybe bring them in when it’s hot.

A little bit about us

My son the sweetest boy, currently we’re working on getting him sleep trained. He sleeps through the night but is growing a lot so he’s always hungry! Super happy baby, loves to play. I’m looking for someone that can watch him, play with him, work with him on development, and support where we’re at and what we’re working on with him to keep the consistency going. I don’t want someone that’s just going to set him down and have him in his swing all day, I want him to have fun and play.

I’m looking for someone 9am-5pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. It would be great to have someone that when needed could watch on weekends when we go on date nights.
I’m looking for someone with experience with newborns specifically, and that feels very comfortable with the level of attention they’ll need.
I would prefer someone that has been trained or certified in safety, CPR, other certs welcome too.
I need someone that is going to communicate with me on how things went and if there are things we need to know about.
This is a beginning position with room to potentially grow into a full time position.

What is an Infant Nanny in Milliken, CO

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Milliken, CO? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
