A little bit about us

I’m looking for a sitter that is part time and looking to work on MWF. Over the summer I need help on most Wednesdays, but will have some Mondays and Fridays needed as well depending on our vacation schedules. This would equal out to about 10-15 hours per week. We typically need help from about 10am-4pm on these days, with Fridays being a bit shorter on occasion. During the rest of the year, we will likely need help on Wednesdays-Fridays during these hours.

This would be for one infant age is about 4 months old. We are looking to have the sitter in our home for these hours.

A little bit about us

We have four kids and we are looking for a summer nanny for our twin girls only(ASAP-August, but can flex care until May for the right candidate). They are 11 months and are a lot of fun. We live right across from the park so summer days can be spent playing outside. If you are a good drive you could do visits to the library, etc. Extra duties would include light housekeeping, and cooking lunch for the girls.

A little bit about us

Hello!

Looking for a full time nanny!

We have a little girl who is 15 months (birthdate 12/22/23)-- she is lively and bright and overall a happy kiddo. She is developmentally advanced and enjoys being outdoors and being silly.

We are also expecting identical twin boys in August 2025. We are excited, but know we will need all the help we can get!

In addition to our kids, we also have two french bulldogs-- they are sweet and hilarious, but don't know much about personal space.

Both my husband and I work for Colorado State. Our schedules are flexible which means we can easily be flexible with our caregiver too!

We live in a neighborhood with lake access and a swing set/park-- which makes caregiving extra fun during the summer months.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Severance, CO

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Severance, CO

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Severance, CO? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
