A little bit about us

Hello! We are looking for a patient, kind, honest, fun loving, Christian Nanny to care for our son as we transition back to working from home. We will need someone to care for him in our home while we work from approx 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday beginning mid September. Our son will be 3 months at that time.

The responsibilities would include feeding, changing diapers, soothing/nursing, playtime /developmental activities, and light cleaning of bottles and baby’s needs (his clothes, linens, etc). Please note that he is breastfed so he will need to be brought to me for feeding time if I have not pumped milk for the day. Must be comfortable going up to 2nd and 3rd floor within home as the kitchen and nursery are on those floors.

Our non-negotiables:
~Must have experience with newborns and desire to actively aid in our sons development.
~ Non smoker
~ No profane language or music within our home
~ Must be infant CPR and first aid certified
~ Must be comfortable with cameras in home
~ No pets
~ Self transportation
~ COVID 19 considerations: Wearing a mask at all times

We look forward to hearing from you!

A little bit about us

After school care needed for my busy season at work. I’m expecting a newborn and will need a nanny to care for the infant on a daily basis for at least 8-10 hours a day. My family will need the nanny to cook and clean daily. Our two year old and 1 year old will be in daycare at the time, so the nannies main focus is the infant.

A little bit about us

We're looking for an experienced nanny to help us take care of our 5-month-old daughter in-house while we work from home. You’ll be responsible for diaper changes, and making sure she gets quality tummy time. She is breastfed and takes a bottle easily when offered. She is very playful and loves to smile and giggle. Experience navigating sleep issues and crib transfers is a plus as she prefers contact naps. We plan on doing baby led weaning once she’s 6 months old; experience with that is also a plus. We also have a well trained and super friendly 3-year-old dog.

Must be fully vaccinated, willing to sign a nanny contract and, use the Nannylane payroll system.

A little bit about us

Hi I’m Haley! I’m a nurse and my husband works from home as an accountant. I would like occasional help during the evenings and weekends for now. We have a 1 year old boy and also a 9 year old boy who spends his time between us and his mom. We hope to find someone that can consider helping with both if needed. Only in home childcare needed at this time. No pick ups or drop offs, no house keeping or homework help. I am expecting a baby due this summer and would love to have a nanny during the day while I work. We are really easy going but we do know that children thrive on routine so we hope to find someone that can fit right in, is caring and dependable.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Fairburn, GA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Fairburn, GA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Fairburn, GA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
