A little bit about us

Hello! My wife and I are in need of a nanny ASAP! We both work from home and have 2 under 2!

Some of the responsibilities would be feeding them, changing the, etc.

Normal cleaning around their area as well.

My wife and I are home for the most part so we'd be here to give a helping hand when we can.

A little bit about us

I am looking for full-time care starting for the new school year [phone number hidden]. I have a 2 year old girl named Emily and a soon to be 5 year old boy named Thomas that will be starting Kindergarten in the fall. I am also expecting our third baby (due in June 2022). Childcare would consist of all day care of the newborn and 2 year old and the 5 year old would be home in the afternoons for about 2 hours before we get home from work. We would not expect you to work on any major holidays nor accompany us on family trips. Occasional nights (for parent outings) would be paid additional to regular monthly rate. Care would be needed Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm. We would also need someone that is comfortable working if a child is sick, however not expected to take children to any scheduled doctor's appointments. It would be helpful to have someone that would assist with laundry and groceries and keeping the house generally tidy (would not be expected to clean my house, just keep tidy/clean up after yourself).

A little bit about us

I am a sales manager who currently works from home but I will soon start traveling about once a month. My husband is a real estate investor and he sometimes works from home but often times on the go. We have a 6 week old baby girl who was 6 weeks early so we are a little apprehensive about sending her to day care. I would like for someone to help keep her on a schedule Monday - Thursday approximately 9-3 sometimes later sometimes earlier so flexibility is great. She still sleeps a lot so while she is asleep any help with her laundry , bottles anything around the house is a definite plus . I am not looking for someone who just sits and plays on their phone while she is asleep.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Lawrenceville, GA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Lawrenceville, GA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Lawrenceville, GA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
