A little bit about us…

I have an energetic little boy who is 8 and a 3 month old baby girl. I am looking for someone to care for them 2 days a week. Every other week will be Monday, Tuesday and Saturday, Sunday. The hours would roughly be 6 am to 4 pm. You will need to be comfortable around dogs (however he is crate trained). I am looking for someone to just do the standard care of feeding, changing, burping, and playing with the baby. My son is very independent for the most part.

A little bit about us…

Hello! We are a family of 4. My name is Deandra, my fiancé Thomas, my son Ty (1.7yrs old), and my daughter Ella (7m). We are new to the area and don’t have any family or friends to help with the children so in order for us to not go crazy we would like to start having date nights! We will need babysitters most likely between the hours of 6p-12p weekends. The kids enjoy playing peek a boo, chasing around the house, watching TV, playing drums, and coloring. My son Ty can eat anything except dairy products. Bed time is around 10p-11p. If you would like to bring your own food that is fine you can use our appliances, just clean after yourselves. If the kids make a mess just clean to the best of your ability. We do have baby monitors in certain areas of the house, alarm system, ring, and cameras outside the house for everyone’s protection. We hope you feel at home in our home and enjoy the children. We are also open to new games and learning activities for the children.

What is an Infant Nanny in Locust Grove, GA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Locust Grove, GA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
