The Silva Family
Powder Springs$16/hr  |  1 kid
We both work retail management schedules so it’s not a typical M-F job. It may be 40 hours or less depending on our schedules. Pretty simple; watch, feed, clean, and play with our son.
The Harworth Family
Powder Springs$14/hr  |  2 kids
Powder Springs family needs a long-term, fun loving nanny to join our family. Must love kids! The children are 10 months and 3 years old. Our ideal match will meet the requirements below. Please be comfortable with pets as we have a small toy poodle. We ask that you handle pickups/drop-offs for our boys: the 3 year old goes to school M-Th and the baby goes T/Th, both 9-1. Preparing meals for the boys will be needed. We also require that you have your own transportation and proof of insurance, be CPR/First Aid certified, and up to date on vaccinations including the flu shot.
Our toddler has lots of energy. He loves playing, doing crafts, helping in the kitchen, and music. We have lots of activities and toys to help you keep him going during the day. Both boys are so fun, loving, and genuinely great kids. We are truly blessed with awesome kids. What we are looking for is an extension to our family. We want to find someone that loves our boys and wants to watch them grow, teach them, and help them develop into wonderful young men.

single parent with fixed schedule, looking for a nanny
The Richards Family
Powder Springs$20/hr  |  1 kid
Looking for someone to watch my 6-month old son, Nicholas. I am going back to work part-time and will be working from home in an upstairs office. I will be working 2-3 days a week, but I have not signed my final contract about which days I will be working. It will likely be Mon-Tues/Wed. Hours will be 8:30-5:30. My husband works 8-6 M-F in Smyrna. We are open to nanny sharing and would be interested in someone with flexibility for additional hours. I will go back to work full time in 4-6 months. We have two 25 lb dogs that we keep separated from the baby's play area with gates. The nanny would have very minimal interactions with dogs, unless I have to travel out of town for work.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Powder Springs, GA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Powder Springs, GA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Powder Springs, GA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
