A little bit about us

My wife and I both work full time jobs. We are in need of a full time nanny for our son, Maveriick, who’s 3 months old. My wife works from home—would prefer our nanny babysit at our home from about 9am-4pm, M-F.

Primarily, we’d expect the utmost care of our son. Feeding, changing, entertainment, etc. Lite clean ups of our home, mainly kitchen and living area, would help us a ton.

Finally, we have two pet dogs, Zeus and Kali. Ideally, we’d love to hire someone who loves animals/wouldn’t mind being around dogs but it’s not a deal breaker.

If anyone is interested or has any questions, please message me.

A little bit about us

You’ll care for our six-month-old son roughly four days a week, about five hours a day (flexible days/times). Show up on time, no phone scrolling while he’s awake, keep to his nap-feed-play routine, sanitize bottles and toys daily, and log diapers and naps in the shared notebook. Light baby laundry, prepare baby’s food and tidying his room are part of the deal; no visitors or outings without our okay.

A little bit about us

Our family is currently in search of a nanny for our 3 year old, within our home. Light housekeeping would be ideal. We are expecting in August 2025, so the position will also include some assistance with a newborn. Mother works from home with occasional meetings. We have an older child (8 years old) that goes to school and will not need nanny care. No pets, non-smoking home, outdoor play area, and playroom at home.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Clayton, NC

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Clayton, NC

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Clayton, NC? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
