HE'S A SWEET LOVEABLE BABY BOY. HIS NICKNAME IS BIG BOY. HE WAS BORN 3/27/23. HE'S A LIL FUSSY SOMETIMES AND WANTS TO BE HELD UNTIL HE DALLS ASLEEP. HE DRINKS A LOT OF MILK AND SLEEPS SOME GOOD HRS. LOOKIN FOR A BABY SITTER THAT IS CLOSE TO US AND CAN HELP A FEW TIMES A WEEK WHEN WE BOTH NEED SLEEP OR IM WORKING A DOUBLE SHIFT AND MY WIFE XAN SLEEP AND BE READY FOR HER SHIFT WHEN I GET HOME FROM A LONG DAY AND NIGHT AT WORK. I WORK 50 TO 70 HRS A WK AT MY JOB. MY WIFE IS KIMBERLEE AND IS THE STAY AT HOME MOM. MY SCHEDULE CHANGES FROM WEEK TO WEEK AND IM ALWAYS ON CALL SO WHEN IT COMES TO THE DAYS THAT THEY MIGHT NEED TO BABY SIT COULD BE CALLED 3 DAYS BAC TO BACK OR 3 KR 4 DAYS A WEEK DEPENDING ON BITH OF OUR SCHEDULES.
OUR EXPECTATIONS ARE HE IS CHANGED AND FED ON HIS REGULAR SCHEDULE WHICH IS EVERY 2 TO 3 HRS IN THE DAY TIME. AT NIGHTHIS FEEDING IS EVERY 4 TO 5 HOURS. SOMETIMES IT DEPENDS ON IF HES CRANKY OR NOT HAD A BATH. HE LOVES HIS BATH TIME HE'S A REAL WATER BUG. HE LOVES TO LAY ON MOMMA AND DADDY TILL HE FALLS ASLEEP. WE HAVE NO ONE ESLE TO HELP WATCH OUR SON WHILE WE NEED SLEEP OR APPOINTMENTS OR DOING OUR SCHEDULES WHICH SOMETIMES GETS REALLY BUSY.
AT MOST WOULD BE 4 TO 6 HOURS ON A DAY THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO HAVE HIS BABY SITTER. PLEASE NOTE WE WILL HAVE TO HAVE AN INTERVIEW WITH THE BABY SITTER BEFORE WE DECIDE WETHER OR NOT IS SUITABLE FOR OUR SON. How to Find an Infant Care Job in Nashville, TN

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Nashville, TN

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Nashville, TN? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
