A little bit about us

Hi! I have a 3 month old sweet baby boy who I am seeking a nanny share to be part of. My husband and I work from home a few days a week but will need 1 to 2 days each week for care, preferably every other Tuesday and every Friday. This is our first precious baby so we would rather him be loved by a nanny at their home rather than daycare, this early on. We are willing to drop the baby off and pick up, and there are no specifications other than the most loving care. Thanks so much!

A little bit about us

Hi! My name is Eileen and I have a 7 month old daughter, Alexandra. I am looking for a nanny and another family who would be interested in doing a nanny share starting tentatively in January. I have taken a year off of work to stay home with my daughter so she will be about a year when the nanny share starts. I live in Canton and would prefer another family in Canton, Highlandtown, Patterson Park, Fells Point areas. I would also ideally prefer a Spanish speaking nanny. I will need child care M-F from around 7:00am- 5:00pm. We have a dog in our house so would like for the other family to host as long as that was convenient for them.

Hello! My name is Mike. My wife's name is Viviana. We have a 5 month old daughter Fiorella. We're looking to join a nanny share. I work full time. My wife is hoping to be able to free some time during the week for driving and community college classes. We would thus be looking to participate in a nanny share perhaps 3-4 hours per day, 3 days a week, or so. Thanks! -Mike

A little bit about us

Hi! We are located inBaltimore, at Patterson park. We are in need of a part time Nanny/ nanny share for our daughter (3 month) from February/March . If you have a child even better, we could also drop our daughter off if needed. Our daughter is very active, happy, loves to explore, music, singing, having fun. We would love to have someone who has a child on their own so they could play but this is not a must.
Dad works full time and Mom works 2-3 days/ week . The schedule may vary however the Nanny will typically be needed between 7am-6:30pm, days would depend on Mom’s schedule. We may also ask for babysitting occasionally in the evenings or on the weekend.

We are a non-smoking household and would prefer a non-smoker. Our dog will be home as well, he has slight separation anxiety but he is very friendly. Infant experience required. First Aid/CPR, comfortable with infant feeding. In addition to caring for the baby (feeding, changing, putting down for naps, taking for walks, playing, etc.). Responsibility would also include taking the dog for a walk.
If this sounds like a good fit for you, we look forward to hearing from you!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Baltimore, MD

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Baltimore, MD

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Baltimore, MD? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
