Family Assistant/Newborn Nanny

We’re a family of three (plus two dogs!) seeking a proactive, nurturing Family Assistant/Newborn Nanny to join us long-term starting in February. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys variety, and wants to grow with our family. Responsibilities range with meal prep, cooking, and baby care taking priority. I am a stay at home mom so the majority of day to day care will initially be done by me.

Responsibilities:
Care for our newborn (6 weeks old in February), including feeding, diapering, soothing, and providing a safe environment.

Prep meals/snacks for the family

Assist with weekend boat outings, including packing food, baby essentials, and assisting with baby on the boat (baby has his own room on the boat)

Create and/or maintain household organization systems and tidy as needed (housekeepers come weekly).

Occasionally walk the dogs during downtime

Preferably someone flexible with additional hours, occasional travel, and weekend overnights.

Schedule is flexible
• Weekdays: 9 AM - 3 PM. Open to letting nanny choose their preferred off day/s
• Weekends: Full-day availability (boat outings or general support).

Qualifications:
• Prior newborn care experience (CPR/First Aid preferred).
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to anticipate family needs.
• Reliable car and valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable with dogs and flexible with responsibilities.

Compensation:
• $25-$30/hour or $65,000 annually, based on experience.
