A little bit about us
About our family: We live in Bloomfield Village and are looking for a full-time nanny/household manager. We are both physicians but with pretty regular hours so are looking for someone who can work Monday through Friday, 40 hours weekly (hours are flexible but something like 8-4 is ideal) to start in June (start date flexible). We will have two children - the older kid will be 3.5 at that time (and in preschool but would watch after preschool and on days off) and we have baby #2 coming in April. We're biased, but kid #1 is awesome - friendly, warm, passionate about dinosaurs, and loves to dance. We're really looking for someone who can help out and become a part of our family.
Work details:
- Our ideal candidate has experience in child and newborn care and also could act in the role of a household manager, performing tasks like organization, meal prep, and light housekeeping (such as tidying up of common areas and laundry - we have a weekly housekeeper) - time permitting.
- We are potentially interested in some part-time work before baby comes, especially related to household managing tasks like household organization and meal prep.
- Salary flexible with compensation starting at $20 an hour but negotiable based on experience.
Requirements:
- Must be a non-smoker, CPR certified, fully vaccinated including COVID and flu, and have reliable transportation (and able to drive children as needed) with a clean driving record.
- Must be okay with a (very friendly!) cat.
