A little bit about us

Hi there! We’re looking for a part time nanny for Thursdays (it is possible that we will increase hours - adding Tuesdays some weeks). We would also love for this nanny to also babysit if available. We’re a new family of five - you’d be caring for our second and third child as our oldest begins kindergarten in a few weeks. We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter, creative, loves to ne outside, and is willing to engage and play with our kids. Also, need someone who has experience with a baby - and managing caring for a toddler and a baby at the same time. Our kids are KODAs (kids of Deaf adults) - which means that we communicate primarily in American Sign Language and spoken/written English comes a close second. We’d love it if our nanny knew some sign language!

Thanks!

A little bit about us

My wife and I are looking for a full time nanny mon-friday. Looking possible for flexible scheduling as we own our own business. So possible looking for some days and night mix as our businesses are restaurants. Looking for someone with a reliable transportation, and is interested in taking the kids out of the house with activities around town, including parks, playgrounds, zoo (we have a pass) and any other fun events around town. We enjoy our kids being active, experiencing events and people interaction, along with working on things like writing, speech, and motor skills including legos and sports. We have 1 cat, but she is very self reliant. Hoping for someone who is tidy, will look at cooking meals, not just Mac and cheese, and hot dogs, along with keeping our kids active with events and activities.

Our kids are Reid, who is 3 (March 23rd is his birthday when he’ll be 4) and Quinn- who turns two on Dec 25th. They are very polite kids who love doing activities and playing. They both enjoy reading lots of books, doing puzzles, playing outside (warm or cold) going on adventures and chatting. We have a third baby on the way in May, so will be adding to the family then and hoping to find someone who can handle 3 kids, one being an infant. Mom plans to stay home for a while after the new one is born, but may have to leave for an hour or two to handle something with work. And would look at being back to full time work around 10 weeks after the baby is born.

Needs:

One Infant (looking for a share),
Start May 2023
Work:
I am a product manager at a digital health company. My husband is a sales engineer for a large tech company. I work from the office 5 days a week and my husband works from home 3 days a week (@ office 2 days a week).
Both of our jobs are very flexible and we are able to be very consistent with start and end times.
Pets:
We have a dog and a cat. Our dog is friendly, but huge (80 lbs). He can be a bit nervous around strangers but opens up to people after just a few minutes of meeting. Our cat will largely ignore you, but is very friendly. There would be no need to care for the dog or cat.

Open to hosting at our house or at the shared family's house.

I usually get off work around 3:30 or 4 but sometimes with traffic or just something coming up, it would be 5 at the latest never past that. He is a super sweet funny 5 year boy. He is very silly and funny. The best stop is just around the corner over by the playground. We have a nice park by our house. This would be Monday-friday starting at 2 in the afternoon.
