A little bit about us
We are a laid back and tight-knit family, enjoying every moment of parenthood with our first child. We both work from home but have demanding jobs and would be in our offices the majority of the day, unless you or our son needs us. We're seeking someone to join us long-term and be an integral part of our family by caring for our son.
About You:
Our ideal nanny is a professional who is loving, reliable, and trustworthy. Our son is a very active 16-month-old who loves spending time outdoors. We need someone who can keep up with his energy and is genuinely excited about nurturing his development through engaging and interactive age-appropriate play. Dancing, singing, reading, creative activities, and imaginative/pretend play are encouraged. We avoid 'screentime' and do not emphasize much independent play at this age. We live within walking distance to several parks, walking trails, a library, and lively downtown Belmont - we would encourage outings once trust has been established and you are comfortable. In addition to childcare, we'll ask that you complete light housekeeping tasks as it relates to our son such as washing his dishes, doing his laundry, etc. Experience is a must, as well as someone who is non-smoking and CPR certified. We will require at least 2 verifiable references. You should be comfortable with dogs, as we have a 10 year old Siberian Husky (no dog responsibilities).
What We Offer:
In return, we promise a respectful and positive work environment, and will value your input as a crucial part of our family. You will be one of the most important people in our lives, as you care for the most important person in our life; we promise to treat you as such! We will offer competitive pay based on experience, PTO, and paid holidays. You will feel valued and appreciated in your role.
Please reach out if you think you may be a good fit.
