The Brewer Family - Hiring in Benson

The Brewer Family

Benson, NC
3 kids
A little bit about us…
- We have 3 boys, ages 7 (almost 8), 4, & 2. We homeschool & are exploring extra activities for the kids, such as summer camps, piano & sports.
- We are hoping to find someone that is a good fit with our family dynamic and schedules, patient, proactive, will play on the floor, run outside, encourage learning, be firm but kind, teach manners, laugh, and ENJOY being with us. We want our nanny to be a safe place for our kids!
- We are at a Benson address but are not far from where I-40 and Hwy 210 meet.
- My husband works from home and rarely comes out of his office, except for meals, coffee, or if he is needed.
- I am self-employed and own a photography studio and work from there 2-3 weekdays per week.
- I homeschool so my oldest would not be going to school outside of the home. Sometimes I'll leave a worksheet for him to complete during the day, but I try to leave the fun ones for the days I'm not home. Some days I may do school work with him while our nanny watches the other two before I head to work.
- Hours are typically between 8:00am-5:00pm. There may be some days where I have you come as early as 7:30am or as late as 9:00am, depending on my work schedule that day. If I’m not home, my husband typically gets off work just after 5:00pm but there are the random days he gets stuck on something and may run over a few minutes.
- We do not have any pets.
- Other responsibilities besides directly caring for the kids may be tidying up, dishes, rotate kids laundry.
- We are Christians. We do not require that of our nanny, but ask that she respect our beliefs, while nurturing the habits we are developing with prayer, learning scripture, etc. Our school work also ties into our beliefs.
