This position is an overnight nanny job from around 7-8pm until 7:30am on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights until 7:30am the following day.
Here's a bit about our family:
My name is Amy. I am an RN, working in Oklahoma City at OU Medical center on Tuesdays through Fridays. I leave early Tuesday morning for work, stay Tues, Wed and Thursday nights in OKC and return to Duncan on Friday after work.
Elle is my 16 year old daughter who is needing someone to stay the night. We have family in town, but she would rather stay at home and sleep in her own bed and have someone stay with her here instead of staying elsewhere while I am gone.
Her father works in the oilfield and is out of the state for most of the month. There will be occasional weeks where he is in town and you wont be needed to stay the night the week he is home.
Elle is an excellent cook already at age 16! You won't be required to cook for her, as she can make most anything she likes to eat and will make dinner for you! But I'm sure she would appreciate a home cooked meal at times. Light light housework such at dishes and straightening up is all that's required. She has a long history of migraine headaches that cause her become quite ill for several hours when she starts one. Having a routine is good for her and her headaches aren't as frequent when that routine is followed.
She is just finishing up Driver's Ed and will have her permit soon. In 6 months after that, she will be able to drive. We are also looking into moving to OKC but that will be for some months from now. She goes to Duncan High School and you will be taking her at 7:30am on Wed, Thurs and Friday mornings.
In addition to nannying, if you are looking to make more money and more responsibilities, we have pets you can care for and housekeeping duties I would LOVE to find someone to take care. Of course this will be paid separate and not part of the nanny job.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
