A little bit about us
Our daughter is a happy, curious, social little girl who loves to learn, explore, and interact with the people around her. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being with children, is naturally warm and engaging, and takes an active role in making her days fun, enriching, and developmentally appropriate.
The right person for us is punctual, reliable, communicative, and safety-conscious. Safety is our highest priority, and we want someone who uses good judgment, is attentive and proactive, and treats our daughter’s well-being with the same level of care we do.
We’d love a nanny who understands early childhood development and can thoughtfully plan activities that encourage learning and growth through play. This might include reading, music, imaginative play, sensory activities, outdoor time, walks, age-appropriate outings, and activities that support language, motor, social, and cognitive development. We’re not looking for someone who simply supervises. We want someone who is present, engaged, affectionate, and excited to help our daughter learn and grow.
Just as important to us is building a relationship based on trust, consistency, communication, and mutual respect. We hope to find someone who is looking for a long-term position and wants to develop a meaningful bond with our daughter and our family.
We’re busy working parents, but family is incredibly important to us. We want our nanny to feel valued, respected, and appreciated, and we hope to build the kind of relationship where everyone feels comfortable communicating openly and working together as a team.

The hours are generally 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. with wiggle room requested if we finish up a bit early or late on some days.
We use a payroll service for direct deposit and taxes. Hours over 40/wk are paid 1. 5x the hourly rate. We offer 5 days/year of paid time off.
Our 2 yr old is super smart and hilarious (we're biased), loves reading, music and playgrounds. Mom/dad work full time. Mom is back in the office a 2x/wk, but that will increase over time. Dad works from home.
Candidates should be COVID vaccinated, provide references, and have their own transportation and can drive our daughter (we have a car seat).
