Our son has several food allergies. Must be comfortable administering EpiPen or other allergy medication and minimizing exposure/contact to known allergens.
About our space: We have multiple indoor play areas, a large backyard that opens up to a park/playground, and close access to the Highline Canal trail plus several very close libraries.
About us: Both parents mostly work from home. While we plan to engage with our baby throughout the day and will try to eat lunch with him, we will also be in separate workspaces and out of your hair! We have one dog - must be comfortable around pets.
About you/the position: We are looking for someone to become a member of our family with a year long commitment (or more!). CPR certification, EpiPen administration, up to date vaccines, understanding of secure attachments, and ability to work through intentional transitions are a must! Comfort with coordinating with mom for breastfeeding and contact napping/baby snuggles are also required. We are seeking 20-24 hours of care per week on M, T, Th between 8 am - 5 pm with guaranteed hours, PTO, and holidays. If you are seeking more hours or a different schedule, please reach out as we are negotiable on both!
