A little bit about us
A little bit about us:
John works in business and Brooke works remotely as a grant writer. We would welcome hosting a nanny share from our home 2-3 days per week or full time, depending on a partnering family’s needs. Our chill old cat Ollie is good-natured and enjoys attention. We are intentional, easygoing, and light hearted.
A little bit about Der:
I am 24, covid vaccinated + boosted, bilingual in both English and Hmong and would describe myself as fun, caring and responsible. I completed my undergrad from UWSP with a Bachelors in Child, Youth and Family Studies and now living in the downtown Milwaukee area. I am a strong advocate for children and families and would love to work with you and be apart of your child’s growth as they learn through play.
Activities I enjoy doing with children…Exploring all the parks, visiting the river/stream to catch frogs, butterflies, and insects, making crafts according to their age and interests, going to the beach to make sand castles, visit water parks and playing “monster”
The most important part about being a nanny…Meeting the child(ren) where they are at is very important to me. Children are movers and are constantly growing and changing so being adaptable is key and what I feel is the core to building a strong and healthy child and caretaker relationship.
A little bit about our arrangement:
We are looking to start a nanny share in January 2023, full time Monday through Friday, 35-40 hours per week, $12.50 per family per hour. Brooke, John, and Der are looking for a family who is able to make a long term commitment.
Please reach out if it sounds like a good fit!
