A little bit about us

We have a full-time nanny who's amazing, and we're looking for a second dependable person to add to our village. Someone we trust, who's with us consistently once a week, and who can pick up occasional extra shifts when we travel for work or our nanny takes time off.

Our four kids are 7.5, 5, 3, and 17 months. Two boys, two girls. Our baby girl has Down syndrome and is a literal angel. Experience with special needs is a bonus, though what matters most is patience and a genuine heart for kids.

My husband and I own a local business, have been married nearly 15 years, and we're ready to make Friday date night a real habit. That's Fridays 3pm to 10pm, with occasional later evenings. You'd lead the kids through play, dinner, and bedtime with confidence, grace, and humor.

If Fridays don't work but you're interested otherwise, our current nanny could shift to Tuesday through Friday, which opens up Mondays 7am to 5pm instead. That day is primarily caring for our baby, plus leading the morning routine with the three older kids from 7 to 830am, and snack and play from 4-5pm.

We also love help keeping the household running smoothly: switching laundry and dishes, tidying the kitchen, putting away groceries.

We value learning, contribution, accountability, and grateful attitudes. We know you'd be helping raise our kids, so alignment on parenting matters to us. Cleanliness, timeliness, and consistency are important, and so are patience, kindness, and humor.

We're on 5 acres in Rathdrum, about 5 minutes off the Garwood exit, just north of Hayden. Our only "pet" is a moose who visits occasionally to drink from our fountain - four kids keep us plenty busy!

If this sounds like your kind of family, we'd love to hear from you.
