We’re a family of five with a very busy schedule. Our son is 18 and preparing for graduation and to leave for the USMC. We have two daughters, Kaia (15) and Lasai (10). Kaia is studying for her drivers license but will need rides until she gets her license. Even after Kaia is driving, we are looking to keep someone on similar hours and will have more chores/errands to pick up. We also have a large, young energetic husky-shephed named Nash, a wiener dog named Ezio and an indoor outdoor cat named Nigel.
We currently need afternoon help 1:45/2:30 to 5:45/6:30 M-F. Looking for a special person to aide us in shuttling our girls around from school to home/dance. House chores will include daily emptying of the dishwasher, starting dinner daily, walk Nash, bringing trash/recycling cans to side yard on Mondays, sorting laundry on Thursdays and starting a load of darks, and ironing dress shirts and slacks.
Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required. Must have reliable transportation, auto insurance, clean driving record, background check, references and be comfortable with animals!!!

We have a 3-year-old little girl who is healthy and typically developing, and a 5-year-old boy with special needs. You would sometimes be responsible for watching both kids, but much of the time it would just be you hanging out with and caring for our son. He is an absolute delight of a little boy, he just needs a little extra help with a lot of things.
Special needs experience is a plus, but not a requirement. As long as you are patient, compassionate, engaged, and willing to learn, we would love to consider working with you.
Other requirements include reliable transportation to and from work, CPR certification, clean background check, and strong references.
We kindly ask that you do not inquire about bringing your own child/children to work with you for this position. Thank you in advance.
If this sounds like a position that may be a good fit for you, please reach out for more details. We are looking forward to meeting the perfect fit for our family :)

Most of the time during weeks days (usually a Wed or Friday), will be the youngest. Occassioally during weeks days days it may also include my oldest though this will be more rare.
Date nights will be for both children.
Looking for preferably a bilingual nanny as we would like to introduce our children to other languages. They’ve been to many countries and the oldest had learned some Spanish and Portuguese but has fallen out of practice. Youngest still learning languages.
Oldest is our mechanist, smart, empathetic, best big brother. Can be emotional and sensitive but well mannered and caring.
Youngest is all has no brakes, sweet, very self confident. Very independent and persistent about what he wants.
Both cuddle bugs.
Reaponsilities, just making sure they’re happy and being introduced to secondary language. Will ensure they have everything else they need. Playing pretend, giving cuddles, reading stories, making sure they’re safe and don’t die. lol
