We are looking for a nanny to care for 2 children. 3 yr boy starting Pre-K and a 5 yr girl starting Kindergarten. We live in Whitestone Queens - driver's license required for school pick-up. The start date is flexible, with guaranteed 8 hours a week total. Working every Tuesday and Thursday 3-7pm- primarily assisting Mom with after-school care, tidying/cleaning, and snack prep. The option to work additional days on Mon and Wed may be occasionally available (but are not required).
Occasionally Mom works evenings as a photographer; on those days the nanny responsibilities involve doing after-school pickup with our car, dinner prep, and watching the kids until Mom returns home. Occasionally will need coverage later than 7pm, and will pay 1.5x the rate past 7pm ($42/hour). A caring attitude and experience with young children are essential. Our kids are energetic and creative. You must be reliable and punctual, and ready to have fun with our kids!
Mom is a freelance photographer who is often home and joining in child care. Dad is a therapist, who works evenings. Most evenings Mom will be home and joining in child care.
Benefits:
$28/hour. 2 weeks paid vacation

I'm looking for a part-time nanny who can start at the beginning of March as I am returning to work and school. I'm located in Astoria, 36th street and 24th avenue, 7 min walk from Astoria train station. I have a 15-week-old baby boy, he will be 5 months once you get to meet him. Duties include daily care of an infant, feeding, playing, reading, singing, putting him for naps, and washing baby bottles. Hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am - 3pm for now but may add more days/hours as time goes on.
I'm looking for someone who loves dogs, 5+ years of experience with caring for infants, is punctual, responsible, respectful, and kind. My husband and I are fun people, so feel free to chit-chat and have coffee with us and become a special person in our baby's life.
We are looking for an English speaker; Italian and Korean are a plus plus but not required. Please have some references to share.
