We are looking for someone who is flexible, as for now, there are not currently pre-set times/days. We are looking for someone who can work “as needed” (we’d provide 18-24 hours notice) but we are also flexible & are willing to discuss having some scheduled days/times if that works best for you.
Currently, this position will be:
•2-4 days per week
•3-5 hours at a time
•Primarily this job is on weekdays •Primarily this job is during daytime
hours M-F
•Occasional evenings, nights, &
weekends
Primarily the job will be looking after our 2 year old girl in our home. Duties will include playing with her, getting her meals and snacks (we’ll have everything you need, you won’t be asked to cook), putting her down &/or waking her up from a nap, potty training (we are almost fully potty trained now), playing outside, going on walks, dressing & bathing her, etc.
In addition, sometimes the job will include our 9 year old son too. Duties will include playing with he & our 2 year old, occasionally picking him up/dropping him off at school (the school is only 1/4 mile from our home), snacks, feeding, playing, help with homework, etc. but he is also very self sufficient.
The vast majority of the time my husband will be home while you are here babysitting. He is disabled & you most likely won’t even notice he’s here. He will stay back in our bedroom working, resting, or doing physical therapy/workin with his home health aid. Again, you most likely won’t even notice he is here. He won’t require any assistance and he is not part of the job, we are simply noting that he is disabled and will almost always be home when the nanny is here, just so that you are aware.
Must be at least 16 years old with a
valid drivers license,
•Must be able to provide great
babysitting/nanny references,
•Must be able to pass a background
check, & have a clean driving record.
Thanks for your time and consideration.

A little bit about us
I work from home and need someone to come to us to nanny inside our home with him for maybe 2-3 hours a day and maybe 3 days a week (I'm not totally sure on the schedule and I hope to work with yours!). No evenings. Hopefully we can find someone in our 74012 area that doesn't have to drive too far. It gets hot in summers so you'll have to try to get outside earlier with my son.
I would also prefer someone with a religious background, preferably Christian or Muslim because that is what I would feel comfortable with. He's a very easy toddler and you do not have to be certified at all. We are a family that tries to eat clean and have a clean and peaceful environment because we own a business that gets stressful. We prefer someone who is proactive and will jump in to do light sweeping or cleaning up after my son, like if you see a toy that's been laying around for awhile, you'll jump in to put it away or clean up any crumbs you see.
My main things I need is someone reliable so I can make appointments and things in the future once my son is comfortable with you. I also like people who have good work ethic and keep my son busy! I'm a millennial and growing up, no matter what my job was, I tried to take great pride in it and I have old fashioned values like that. I'm not a helicopter mom at all and I believe kids should explore and my son tends to be pretty careful anyways.
Also: a picture is worth a thousand words and I tend to ignore profiles that do not have a photo of you!
