A little bit about us

Looking for a nanny share to start fall/winter of 2022, I’m due in June. Hoping to find someone in SE portland 97206 or surrounding areas to join. My baby will need care two days a week from around 8-4, likely Tuesday and Wednesday but this can be easily changed. Hoping to do it out of someone else’s home since ours is small and we work from home but also can find a way to be the host house if need be.

A little bit about us

Hi! We’re just looking for 2-3 hours, 2-3 days a week right now, but will be looking for 15-20 hours a week in a few months with the potential for more after that. We’re very flexible on days of the week and are open to someone who just wants a few hours now or someone who wants to continue working with us for the long term.

Our 18 month old is *intense* but a lot of fun. She’s sweet, communicative, opinionated, and loves being outside more than anything.

We believe in teaching independence but also being close when needed, natural consequences, and clear communication and expectations - a healthy mix of the seemingly opposing attachment parenting and Montessori styles. With our nanny we believe in being upfront and open, communicating clearly, trusting each other, and treating each other as important people in our child’s life.

Please be fully vaccinated and boosted, comfortable with a kid-sized dog, willing to go out in (almost) any weather, and let us know how you approach caring for children.

We look forward to hearing from you!
