Job Description
We are a family in Arlington seeking a nurturing, experienced overnight caregiver to support our 7-month-old son’s transition to bottle-feeding and independent sleep using the Taking Cara Babies (TCB) method.
This role requires expertise in infant sleep training, patience with feeding transitions, and a commitment to consistency.
Key Duties
Sleep Training & Nighttime Care
Implement TCB sleep-training strategies (e.g., SITBACK method, structured bedtime routines).
Encourage self-soothing and independent sleep in a crib.
Track sleep patterns and adjust routines as needed.
Bottle Feeding Support
Introduce and manage bottle feeding for a breastfed baby new to bottles.
Use paced feeding techniques to ensure smooth transitions.
Follow safe feeding practices and log feeding times and amounts.
Consistency & Communication
Maintain detailed logs of sleep, feeds, and progress.
Communicate daily with parents about adjustments or challenges.
Adhere strictly to TCB’s evidence-based methods and schedules.
Requirements
Proven experience with Taking Cara Babies (TCB) sleep-training philosophy.
Expertise in transitioning infants from breastfeeding to bottle feeding.
Knowledge of infant safety (CPR certification).
Ability to work overnight hours calmly and attentively.
Reliable transportation to/from Arlington, TX 76016.
Preferred Qualifications
Background as a night nanny, postpartum doula, or infant sleep consultant.
Gentle, patient demeanor to support a first-time bottle-fed baby.
