A little bit about us

After-School Caregiver Needed for an Amazing Young Lady!

We’re looking for a kind, dependable, and engaging caregiver to provide after-school care for our daughter, Addison, in our home. She has special needs but is very independent and easy to care for. She is happiest and most comfortable in her own environment, so care will take place at our home.

Schedule:
* Monday–Thursday, with occasional Fridays
* Approximately 3:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. during the school year
* Reliability and punctuality are essential, as you’ll need to be at our home to meet her when she gets off the school bus.

Responsibilities include:
* Greeting Addison when she arrives home from school
* Providing companionship and engaging activities
* Preparing a light meal or snack
* Ensuring she is safe, happy, and supported until I arrive home from work

A little about Addison:
Addison attends Hewitt-Trussville High School and is an absolute joy to be around. She loves dancing, spending time outdoors, staying active, and, like most teens, enjoys her tablet and phone! Her primary challenge is with speech and communication, but she has a wonderful personality, a sweet spirit, and brings so much joy to those who know her.

I’m looking for someone who is patient, energetic, compassionate, and enjoys building meaningful connections. Experience with individuals with special needs is appreciated but not required—what matters most is a caring heart, dependability, and a willingness to engage with Addison and help make her afternoons fun and enjoyable.

If this sounds like a great fit for you, I’d love to connect and tell you more about Addison and our family. We look forward to finding someone who will become a trusted and valued part of her routine.

A little bit about us

Our little daughter is a little over three months old, and we’re looking for a loving, dependable nanny who will provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care in our home.

We are a two-mom household and are looking for someone who is genuinely open-minded, inclusive, and affirming of our family. We want everyone to feel comfortable being themselves in our home, so kindness, respect, and a nonjudgmental attitude are very important to us.

Responsibilities would include bottle-feeding, diaper changes, following her nap and feeding schedule, tummy time, reading, singing, sensory play, age-appropriate enrichment, and helping her reach developmental milestones—similar to the activities she would receive in a quality daycare setting. We want someone who will actively engage with her rather than simply supervise her.

We would also expect light baby-related tasks during downtime, such as washing bottles, tidying her play and feeding areas, and keeping her belongings organized. Infant experience, reliability, good communication, and a strong focus on safety are extremely important to us. Most of all, we want someone nurturing, patient, and excited to become a trusted part of our family.
