A little bit about us
I have a smart, playful, and friendly 3 year old boy.
He loves experiments and learning, park days, socializing, running and playing, helping, and basically anything to do with cars and trucks!
I currently work full time from home while watching my son, M-F 830-5.
We are interested in some part time help throughout the week at our house/residence to help make my schedule lighter and to help transition our roles as we aim to try to grow our family.
We are looking to start help in a few months while we finish our house renovations. I would most likely only need support two or three days a week any day M-F, (we are flexible on the days except for Thursdays) for a few hours starting late mornings approximately 10a-1p, with, most importantly, 10a-1p every Thursday.
I currently manage everything myself at home, from feeding, changing, learning, playing, and napping all while working my regular FT job, so help in any of these areas during our short timeframe would be beneficial, whether it simply be providing a snack and playtime, doing a craft, reading, etc.
This will allow me undistracted/uninterrupted time to devote to my work meetings and calls.
Most days my son is a late riser and will still nap in the afternoon, which will allow me time to prep our mornings and finish out the rest of my work day unassisted.
We do have two friendly and sassy frenchies, so someone comfortable with dogs is also a must.
We would most love someone who has patience and understanding to child development/stages, creativity and a kind heart, no use of spanking yelling or inappropriate language, and will be able to be present and not on their cell phone constantly during our short play time.
We are choosing to hire help at home rather than choosing a daycare setting due to the value in one on one care with a selected and trusted care giver, safety, learning growth, and the benefits that that entails.
