A little bit about us

Ideally we are looking for someone after school M-F with occasional additional care on days with no school or when my wife and I have evening events. Role would include getting the kids off the bus and to the house, getting them a healthy snack, homework, light cleaning/laundry, walking the dogs and other activities to keep the kids occupied and away from screens, and ideally would start a meal for us to finish when we get home. Care would be from 2:30-6 M,T, TH, F and 1-6 on W. There wouldn’t be any shuttling of kids around but occasional transportation may be necessary.

Ian is 9 years old and starting 4th grade. He loves video games, but also loves spending quality time with folks. He does better with adults than other kids. He’s an active kid and loves riding his mountain bike, going on his scooter, or hiking the nearby trails.

Mia is 5 yrs old and entering kindergarten. She is very social, not afraid of much, and has lots of good energy. She’s a sweet girl that also loves dress up and princesses.
