A little bit about us

We’re currently looking for part-time childcare help for our two daughters (ages 3 and 16 months) at our home in Asbury. We’re hoping to find someone kind, reliable, and energetic who enjoys spending time with young kids and can help us a couple of days a week.
A bit about us and the job:
🧒👶 Our 3-year-old is outgoing and very verbal, and our 16-month-old is curious, active, and always exploring.
📅 We’re looking for help on Thursdays and Fridays, ideally 9–5, but we’re open to discussing what works best.
💵 Pay is $11–$15/hour, based on experience.
🛠️ You’d be helping with:
• Engaging and playing with the kids
• Prepping meals/snacks
• Managing naps
• Keeping toy clutter under control (no small feat! 😅)
🌿 We live on a small farm in Asbury with a great yard for outdoor play and friendly animals (dogs, a cat, chickens, ducks, and livestock). One of us is usually home—either working or running errands—so you’ll always have support nearby.
👶 This could be a great opportunity for someone just starting out in babysitting or looking to gain experience, since you’ll never be completely on your own.
🚗 No driving or transportation of the kids is expected.
We’re looking for someone who is:
• Communicative, dependable, and considerate
• Honest and aligned with how we care for our kids
• Comfortable with routines and open to checking in when needed
• Engaged, active, and consistent
✨ Bonus (but not required!): We’re also occasionally looking for a sitter for date nights and someone who could help with animal care when we travel.
Thanks so much! 💛
