More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Feb-June 2022 I worked as a co-teacher in a preschool, guiding children through curriculum, meals, naps, and imaginative play. I spent 2021 working as a youth development professional at boys and girls club, in classes of about twenty 7-11 year olds. I also participated in a mentorship program through BGC, where i worked individually with children facing more prominent social/emotional struggles.
I’ve been involved with working with kids for years, it’s what I love to do! I’ve volunteered in church day cares, interned in a kindergarten classroom, worked as a k-12 summer school assistant, trained as a camp counselor, and taught children about produce at the farmers market!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
art projects, creative/imaginative play, building projects, story telling, scavenger hunts, assisting with school work, outdoor play, dress up!
The most important part about being a nanny...
assuring that the child feels safe, cared for, and supported.
My experience with special needs children...
i mentored an 8 year old boy on the spectrum who needed extra help verbally and emotionally
The most important part about being a nanny...
whenever kids give me their art work!

Full-Time Nanny Available in Portland, OR: Aubree A.
Hi! I’m Aubree! I would describe myself as a compassionate, loving, go with the flow kind of person who adores children, yet can be firm at times if required. I grew up in an in-home daycare setting where I began working with children, and over the past 3 years I’ve been a private nanny/sitter for some a super sweet family where I was able to develop a bunch of new skills. I have experience with ages ranging from newborn-8years years old. I enjoy playing outside, arts and crafts, reading and creative play and I truly believe the children should have an amazing memorable experience while being looked after, I look forward to meeting you and your little ones!
Part-Time Nanny Available in Portland, OR: Amanda H.
Hi!
My name is Amanda but I tend to go by Mandi. I just had a beautiful baby girl named Mila, she is 3 months old. I’m wanting to start working again, but I’m in need of a job I can bring her along with me to. I absolutely adore babies, toddlers, children. I’ve never professionally been a baby sitter, but I’ve baby sat multiple times growing up and in teenagehood. I also have experience with children with extra needs such as autism, and cerebral palsy.
I personally love the idea of incorporating montessori style learning into daily life. Its important for children to have fun, but also learn at the same time.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Portland, OR: Jennessa J.
Hi families! My name is Jennessa Jackson, I have been in the childcare field for about 4 years now going on 5. I am 19 years old, a college student at Portland State University studying Child, Youth, & Family Studies hoping to be an Occupational Therapist one day or an Early Childhood Educator. I have experience by being a nanny for a family in NE Portland for two girls ages 6 and 9, since they were 2 and 5. While doing that, I was in High School completing Sabin-Schellenberg’s Technical Center - Child Development Program. I did this all four years. The first year was a more textbook informed study, second year was hands on with kids aged 3-5. The third year consisted of me in Mt.Scott Elementary School working as a Kindergarten Aide, and the last year was a practicum level 2 for child & family services working as a Kindergarten Aide as well. I just recently worked at a Daycare in Portland working with kids aged 1-5 , but had to be cut short because of an unexpected family emergency.
