As a high school student, I consistently worked with children in both paid and volunteer positions, including as a counselor for the "Summer Buddies" program at my local swim and fitness center, and as a teen mentor for elementary school girls with the After School Buddies program in Bend, Oregon.

I strive to keep kids entertained and engaged through creative play and educational activities, and love planning activities around children's individual interests, to provide them with experiences they'll love. Some of my favorite activities to do with kids are visiting children's museums, playing at the park, visiting libraries, and painting or drawing!

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is ensuring the children in my care feel safe, supported, and cared for always. I want the families I work with to know that as their nanny, I will be there for their children at all times; during the fun moments, and the challenging ones.

I've been blessed to work with so many amazing kids in the past seven years, but one of my favorite moments as a nanny was watching the little girl I cared for since she was 3 years old graduate kindergarten! When I first met this sweet girl, she was just learning to speak in full sentences, so seeing her walk across the stage looking so grown up was a bittersweet, beautiful moment that I was so honored to be a part of.
