Activities I enjoy doing with children...
🎨For indoor time, we do activities together like painting, craft, reading and etc. I also like to do various science experiments with the kids, sports, finding clues, hide and seek, dinosaurs, cars etc.
🦕 ⚽️🚴♀️We spend a lot of time outside as well! we do play dates, catch bugs, observe the bugs, ride bikes ,play bubbles and etc;
🎼📖we also have certain time for learning each day,I teach them Mandarin, math, reading in Mandarin, help them do homework!

Being Loving, patient, caring, nurturing, educating, honest, And you need to have boundaries and rules.
My experience with special needs children...
I used to take care of an Autism boy. I help him take online class, do exercise, practicing writing and teach him to speak. It is different to take care autism kids than normal kids. You need to be a lot more patient and loving.
I also took care of a little boy who had speech delay and who was 2 years old back then. When I was with him, I always practice speaking and flash cards with him. He really got impressive progress in speaking after being with me in a while!

The most important part about being a nanny...
Wow that's a lot! The most enjoyable thing when I am with them is just being silly and fun with them! I'm big kid when I play with the kids. For example, once I did sink and float the experiment with a kid, she was very excited and happy when she was doing that. I was speaking Mandarin the whole time with her , so she not only learned some science and gained joy, but also learned many Chinese words during the experiment!
