A little bit about us

Hello!. Thanks for giving us a look. Initial steps here as we are new to the nanny / daycare scene. We recently gave birth to our baby boy (Bennett) just last month, and we're currently navigating the waters of being first time parents. With the end of paternity leave drawing near, we find ourselves having to coordinate work schedules and time off to best suit our family's needs. As it stands now, we're looking for help starting mid-February. The tentative plan is to have someone help 1-2 days a week, possibly alternating days of the week each week, so flexibility in scheduling would be a plus. 8:00a - 4:00p (give or take) would be the hours required. Again, all very new to us but basic responsibilities would be anything and everything involved with caring for a newborn at our home. We also have 2 friendly dogs who would be walked and fed prior to and after your time, so no real assistance needed for them. Just the occasional belly rub! As a side note, our sister and brother in-law are scheduled to deliver within the next month. They live 5-minutes away from us, essentially in the same neighborhood. They too will be looking for a nanny later this spring. We've discussed the possibility of doing a nanny-share with them, so please take that into consideration as a potential opportunity in the future. Happy to dive further into details. If you think you'd be a good match, shoot us a message and we'll follow up accordingly. Excited for the future and hoping to find someone who will be a great fit for our family. -Rob, Jordan and Bennett

The different types of nanny jobs have different nanny responsibilities. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. However, in general, a nanny is responsible for making sure the children's needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. The primary difference being the number of hours you spend at your nanny job every week. For full-time nannies, there are options for live in nanny positions and live-out positions in Denver. Live-out positions are more common, but each family has their own set of needs that require different types of care, and live in nanny positions can be exactly what some families want. How to Interview for a Nanny Job in Denver, CO

  • What do you think children like best about you?

  • How do you handle problems that arise behaviorally and emotionally with kids this age?
