A little bit about us

We’re Ali and Cody, proud new parents to Francesca “Frankie” Hazel, born December 6th. She’s our amazing little girl — bright-eyed, sweet-tempered, and already stealing everyone’s hearts.
We’re both busy resident physicians, so we’re hoping to find a caring and responsible nanny who loves newborns and can help us balance work and home life. We value warmth, reliability, and someone who will help our daughter learn, grow, and feel safe. We can’t wait to meet the right person to join our little family.

A little bit about us

We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and hands-on nanny for our infant son. My husband is a doctor, and I am an attorney (first time parents). I work remotely 4 days a week and in DC 1 day a week. We have a sweet 4 year old samoyed and hope that our nanny loves pets! We will provide a vehicle and hope that our nanny will assist with meal preparation for our son and light house work (tidying up after baby throughout the day).

A little bit about us

My wife and I have two charming boys aged 16mo and almost 3yr who are enrolled at little friends school. We both work and and one or both of us frequently need to leave early in the morning or stay late in the evening.
We'd like help with transportation to/from little friends, entertaining the kids for a few hours after daycare, as well as lunch-packing and some simple meal prep. (Not legit cooking)
Our kids typically wake up around 630-7am and we try to get them dressed, fed, and to daycare by 8am. We typically pick them up around 5pm and hit a public playground during the months that it's light out or head home for some playtime, dinner, bath, and bedtime ritual.
Exceptions are when one of them is sick and cannot attend daycare, daycare professional days, and holiday closures. On these occasions we typically need additional help with care.
In many instances, at least one of us will be present but unable to offer enough attention to be the sole caregiver for both children due to work obligations. You wouldn't be expected to be able to support the all-day exceptions, but it would be awesome if that could sometimes work out.
Since we're primarily looking for help for a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the evening, it would be best if you live pretty close to where we live in hampden.
3-4 days a week would be ideal, but we can be somewhat flexible if you need at least a certain number of hours per week or have some other constraint.
We have a car for you to use for all of the kids transportation needs.

The different types of nanny jobs have different nanny responsibilities. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. However, in general, a nanny is responsible for making sure the children's needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example, housekeeping or meal preparation, it’s good practice to make sure your expectations are aligned with the family.

The primary difference being the number of hours you spend at your nanny job every week. For full-time nannies, there are options for live in nanny positions and live-out positions in Baltimore. Live-out positions are more common, but each family has their own set of needs that require different types of care, and live in nanny positions can be exactly what some families want. How to Interview for a Nanny Job in Baltimore, MD

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is a nanny job interview. Here is a list of some nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What do you think children like best about you?
  • What kind of activities will you do with children this age?
  • How do you handle problems that arise behaviorally and emotionally with kids this age?

Beyond answering questions, families will want you to have your nanny references ready and ask any questions to show initiative.
