A little bit about us

Lovely family in Portland, OR is in need of a fun, engaging, responsible nanny OR manny for their two children aged 9 and 5 years of age. There are two other children(16 and 13 years old) who live in the home but they are independent and do not need supervision. The nannies main priority is to provide care and engage the 5 year old boy (special needs) in fun activities. He is a very happy and curious little boy who likes to go on adventures outdoors therefore must be highly supervised at all times and engaged in various activities as he likes to mix things up. He has many words but is a bit delayed in conversational speech.

The little 9-year old girl also loves to play and will join on her own in activities. She is pretty much independent, aside from needing little reminders like doing her homework and taking a shower.

The parents ideal nanny has:
Experience with kids on the autism spectrum,

Tutoring skills are a plus!
Additionally, a nanny who can travel with them 2 times per year and stay overnight when the parents travel without the children.

Responsibilities
Supervise, provide care, and play with sweet 5 year-old boy on the autism spectrum who has many words but is delayed in conversational speech and is at risk of elopement.

SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday 3:00PM-7:00PM. Occasional Saturdays (2 per month) and occasional travel with the family (2x per year). The parents will also like to take some time to travel without the kids and will need the nanny to take over during this time, therefore, full-time, live-in childcare will be needed.

• Excellent Swimmer
• Be available to travel

A little bit about us

Hello! I am a solo-mom to be, due with my baby boy in March 2022! I’m starting to put feelers out and explore what feasible options exist for me starting next spring/summer.
When I return to work, I will be working remotely 3 days a week, looking for a nanny share the other 2-2.5 days to start.
I would likely go to 3 days a week when he’s 6-9 months. The rate I gave is my nanny share budget. Assuming $24/hr split between 2 families. Open to doing a share with any type of family(ies) and situation. Although I am located in the NW and would like a family in this part of town.
Ideally, 1 day a week would be at my home. But this is not a deal breaker for me. I’m open to different arrangements, and possibly hours and rate depending on the situation.
