A little bit about us

**Looking for a family to join us in creating a nanny share starting mid August**

Hello! We are interested in finding a family in outer NE or SE to join us in a nanny share. We'd want to find a family that could commit for at least one school year, ideally longer if it felt like a good fit! We are looking for care two full days per week during the school year, ideally Tuesdays and Thursdays.

A bit about us: I am a middle school teacher and my partner works at a non-profit. Our baby is a sweet and chill 4 month old (will be 10 months in August). We value clear communication and building relationships & community! We are a queer biracial family and we believe in compassionate parenting styles that focus on empowering kids while also holding appropriate boundaries to everyone safe and healthy. We also have a part-time dog (every other month).

We live in outer NE but I work in SE Portland, and so a nanny share with another family in NE or SE could work for us. We are up on our COVID and flu vaccinations and are open to discussions about COVID/flu/RSV precautions. I will mention that our dream dream scenario is to find a nanny for our nanny share who could speak Arabic with the kids and another family who was interested in that. But our top priority is just finding a nanny and another family we are values aligned & logistics aligned with.

Also, we do have some flexibility with days & times for the nanny share, so if your needs are similar to ours but not exactly the same, feel free to reach out!

A little bit about us

Our son is just 3 months old. We need a nanny for a few hours a week on Fridays and Saturdays (3 hrs a day), to help a bit around the house if possible and watch the baby while both of us are working. We have pets (dog, cat, bunny) who shouldn't really need attention but will be present in the home.
