A little bit about us
We'll be partially working and nearby the 2-BR condo where we'll be staying, so you must be comfortable providing care with us a bit nearby (but we are NOT overbearing or overly structured parents, so we won't be hovering in the least). Grandparents will be a building over in the same complex, and they will happily assist as/if helpful (just don't want to commit them full time).
The condo has easy access to a pool, and both kids love the water (the 7-year old being very proficient for her age, the 4-year old being comfortable but still just a 4-year old when it comes to the pool). We'd love to see the kids safely entertained outdoors as much as possible (pool, beach, nearby parks, other excursions, etc.), but other structured indoor activities are welcomed if the heat is on. Household help welcomed, but we'd only expect it in the context of the kids. We'll have our car there, but the expectation is that you'll have a safe vehicle to take the kids to different places. And the expectation is also that you'll have first aid and CPR certifications to safeguard them if anything goes wrong.
Looking for as much weekday coverage as possible (the last couple years have required over 30 hours per week), with reasonable flexibility to an agreed-upon schedule if you need it. Not required, but select nighttime sitting would be welcomed as well, to let me (and my wife when here) go out for dinner.
We look forward to your interest in helping us out and working with our kids!
