Special Nanny Needed - in Five Forks Simpsonville Starting in August 2023

Alex is a very sweet special needs 7-year-old - in a wheelchair and has a g-tube. We want someone who enjoys doing fun things - going to the park, the zoo, and more! Must be able to drive-we have a wheelchair van you will drive to pick him up from school.
He currently weighs 60+ lbs. and needs to be lifted in/out of wheelchair/feeding chair, up/down from floor, and to/from the car for outings. Follow nap schedule, feeding schedule, & weekly therapy schedule. There will be a nurse with you for medication administration and g-tube feedings.
Schedule We need someone who can be flexible with their hours: Monday to Thursday- school days are 1:30p-6:30p (or up until 8pm if desired for more hours) non-school days are 8a-6p.
We hope to find someone loving, kind, and caring! He is sweet as can be and loves music, art, and any toy that lights up! He'll blow you kisses and say hey every time you see him!
Pay will be between $14-$15 per hour doe.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with special needs is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
- Strong organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work environment
Light housekeeping (vacuuming, laundry, cleaning toys and medical equipment) is required.
Please note that a valid driver's license is required for this position.
