A little bit about us

Needing extra hands to organize house/life in general and help with recovery after my 5th major abdominal surgery. But also making sure kids taken care of while I recover but even before then. Flexible on hours. part time to start. Must have good energy. Open mind and heart. Cleaning/organizing is therapeutic for you.

We are a family of 5 (kids Cruz 10, jax 8, and Nelly 3) and energy is everything to us. I am an intuitive/psychic medium. My husband (in the entrepreneur/crypto/web3 space ) and all 3kids are Cancerians. (I am Aquarius). We all are such feelers. We hope to manifest someone who loves being in our little family vortex few evenings and during date nights.

We are looking for someone who thinks children are miracles, understands high frequency living, values body sovereignty and medical freedom , Concious/gentle parenting. Energy wise- we are wanting good energy, warm, loving person, think enneagram 2 (helper) or 7 (enthusiast) type vibe. Someone who loves nature and being outdoors, being creative, and playing with kids. We are a Montessori family. Please be into art, sports, and fort building . 🙏🏼😂But also someone who likes organization and house things (bc I am not amazing in this department. We do have our cleaner who comes once a week.) I need help with kids AND house stuff as I’m wanting to be able to focus more on work/readings with clients as well.

We are also wanting to really find our person as I’m preparing to have my 5th major abdominal surgery hopefully in May🙏🏼🤍✨. I want my family to be adjusted and feel great and know I will have extra support during recovery. Ideally during that time, this person can stay with us first week or recovery.

A little bit about us

Hello, I’ll be going back to work from maternity leave in March and am looking into nanny options for my baby boy who will be 6 months at the time. I live in Cambridge and am looking for someone to come watch him at my house as my husband and I both work from home. Hours would be 9/10 AM - 3 PM Monday - Thursday with some flexibility and potentially lesser hours on Friday. Where I live is easily accessible by both car and public transit. Additional responsibilities may include light housework (laundry and vacuuming) and meal prep while baby sleeps. Please message me if interested.

The different types of nanny jobs have different nanny responsibilities. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. However, in general, a nanny is responsible for making sure the children's needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. The primary difference being the number of hours you spend at your nanny job every week. For full-time nannies, there are options for live in nanny positions and live-out positions in Austin. Live-out positions are more common, but each family has their own set of needs that require different types of care, and live in nanny positions can be exactly what some families want. If you're looking to explore live in nanny positions , it's even more important to create a shared set of expectations around hours, responsibilities, and what is expected of you when you're not on the clock.

How to Interview for a Nanny Job in Austin, TX

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is a nanny job interview. Here is a list of some nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What do you think children like best about you?
  • What kind of activities will you do with children this age?
  • How do you handle problems that arise behaviorally and emotionally with kids this age?

Beyond answering questions, families will want you to have your nanny references ready and ask any questions to show initiative.
