A little bit about us

We had our first son (Cooper) January 9th. He will be 4 months when I go back to work in May. I work at Arlington County Jail. I work Monday through Friday, 40 hrs/week. We have a 4lb 13 year old teacup Morkie named Tucker who really won’t require much care (he lays around most of the day). The sole responsibility would be looking after our son.

Our family is looking for a warm, reliable caregiver for our infant son while we both work mostly from home. We are big on safety and evidence-based parenting practices, and we prioritize raising good, well-adjusted humans. The ideal candidate is happy to spend time reading aloud, playing, being outdoors, singing, etc. and who doesn’t mind a messy introduction to solid foods! In view of a long-term fit, we are looking for someone flexible to learn and implement our preferred approaches to behavior management (roughly, gentle parenting), and we are more than happy to offer access to certain professional learning opportunities. A little bit about us

We have a 2 month old boy who we are looking for a nanny to come and help out while my wife works from home.
Our little man, Nolawi, has a pretty straight forward routine but it does take some effort. He wakes up from a nap, eats, burps, then has a wake window for about an hour where he does tummy time and we read books to him. After that he gets fussy and then wants to take a nap.
He still needs help sleeping, so we have to put him in a swaddle and bounce/rock him to sleep and he sleeps for roughly 30 min to an hour and at most 2 hours and then the routine starts over. We would generally need a nanny from 10am to 3pm daily.
