A little bit about us

Hi there! We are looking for a nanny for our amazing 22 month old girl. She will be starting half days at a Montesorri daycare this fall, so we are looking for someone to help in the afternoons (12pm-5:30pm, though exact hours are negotiable). She's a super bright toddler, loves reading, music, going for walks, and she often entertains herself with imaginative play which we like to encourage. Her nap schedule right now is 12-2, so a big part of the work day will overlap with that nap. So, we'd like someone who's willing to help out just a bit with light duty household chores like grocery pickups and food prep (for her) during that time. We prefer to pay above the table and have generous pay and benefits that are negotiable based on experience and credentials. No pet sitting needs, but we do have both cats and dogs, so must be pet friendly/not allergic. Please feel free to reach out if you think we might be a good fit, and we'd be happy to set up a time to talk a bit more!

A little bit about us

My husband and I are looking for a nanny to help with our son, Ryan, on the weekday mornings including taking him to school. Must have a reliable car. We have 2 border collies, but we don't expect any dog sitting responsibilities, just someone who likes & is comfortable with dogs. Ryan doesn't have any special health issues so far & we're looking forward to having a wonderful person to help us with his care.

A little bit about us

We have a baby daughter who is 8 months old and are looking for help ~ full-time, and also open to part-time.

We recently moved to the Charlottesville area a few miles from downtown. I work at UVA during the days and my partner works remotely from our home - so ideal hours would cover roughly mornings and afternoons.

We are looking for a responsible nanny that has had some prior experience working with infants (at least 1+ years experience) and can be able to meet the needs of a growing, curious, cheerful 8-month-old.

Our ideal nanny will provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for our little one as she progresses through her developmental milestones. She enjoys rolling around, being read stories, exploring new tactile sensations, playing with her food, and seeing the natural world. Most of all she likes interacting and smiling at people.

Other expectations: We are a smoke-free household.

Additional requirements:
* Infant CPR, FA trained in last ~7 years
* Update to-date vaccinations

If interested in exploring a role with us more - please send us a little more information about you and your prior work experience with infants. If you do have a resume on hand that is helpful to share for us to get to know you better.

Note that later we will request references, and do a standard background check.
