A little bit about us

Hello! We are looking for a nanny for our daughter who is 8 and our son who is 6. We have been social distancing since March, so we would like someone who has been taking social distancing precautions, too. The work hours would be Mon-Fri, 9-4 p.m. until school begins and we would appreciate the nanny staying on during the school year. Our ideal nanny would be someone who is loving, patient, and has lots of experience with elementary-age children, including doing fun activities and summer learning. Our nanny would need to provide their own transportation to our home, but no driving of the children is required.

A little bit about us

We are looking for an energetic, caring, and reliable nanny for our 3 year old daughter. We are looking for someone to do approximately 25-30 hours/week; ideally Monday through Friday from 9-4pm but we are flexible with the number of days and hours. We would also request occasional weekend work. We have an older daughter who is 7 but she is in school full time so you would only be caring for our 3 year old during the weekdays.

We would like someone who can drive and has their own car. We are looking for someone who has a lot of energy to play with and keep our daughter engaged. Teaching or preschool experience would be great! We are looking for someone that enjoys spending time outdoors, doing arts/crafts, and finding creative ways of teaching little ones age appropriate material.

Additional responsibilities would include helping with meals/snacks and cleaning up after meals and with toys. We are also in the process of potty training so we need someone who is comfortable with helping her in the bathroom. Must be ok with dogs as we are a small dog, but he mostly keeps to himself. We live near Mosaic Direct in the Merrifield/Fairfax area.

NOTE: me and my husband have both been fully vaccinated for COVID.
