A little bit about us

We're looking for a nanny for our kids in Falls Church, Virginia near Mason District Park and just outside of downtown Annandale. We’re looking for someone who will provide educational and enriching activities for our 2 year old. The job may include occasional care for our 6 year old but he spends most of the day in school. Both kids are bright, warm, loving, highly engaging and thrive with any sort of achicory including crafts, math & reading activities, etc. We have a sweet large dog who loves rubs, a large front yard and fully fenced backyard with lots of garden beds, fruit trees, bushes and trees--a wonderful place to spend time! We offer above average pay for the area and our goal is to raise pay every 6-12 months as long as things are going well. We're looking to interview immediately and hire ASAP.

A little bit about us

Hello!
I am looking for a childcare attendant for my son Luke (age 10) to start as early as September. Luke is happy and energetic but can also be quiet and want to do his own thing. He loves puzzles, painting, basketball and cooking.

Luke has autism and speaks with a talker (an ipad that helps him speak). He understands what you say but struggles to communicate to you, although he has made lots of gains in the last year. He is otherwise very physically capable. I will be around and often available to help, but will also be juggling my other two sons’ schedules and activities (ages 8 and 12).

This job involves playing with Luke, getting him to after school activities and therapy, dinner prep/light straightening up the boys toys/clothes folding, etc. A car can be provided, but driving experience is required.

Experience with working with someone with autism is not necessary, but kindness, patience, flexibility, creative problem solving, and willingness to support a child with special needs who struggles to communicate is a requirement.

We live in Falls Church, close to East Falls Church metro. Flexibility to work partial days when school is out or on some weekends would be amazing, but not a requirement. The ability to work legally in the U.S. is a requirement due to my husband’s job . We also have a sweet, gentle yellow lab and a cat.

A little bit about us

Looking for someone to help in the weekday afternoons, from about 4-8, 5 days a week. Primary role would be picking up and watching our 3 yo son Callum and occasionally picking up/watching our 10yo daughter Coralie and 8yo son Everett (may change depending on the day but primary role is handling the 3yo). Callum is very active and happy, is potty-trained, and loves being outside. Coralie is into art, music, theater and basketball, and Everett loves soccer, baseball, and pretty much all sports.

We prefer to have someone with their own car (we would provide car seat). We would like someone who will be comfortable with our dog (lab mix) and open to doing some light housework (minimal dishes or laundry), but that is a low priority. We would prefer covid vaccinated, CPR/first aid certified, and experience with toddlers/preschool age. Pay is negotiable, and we would love it if the person was willing to help on weekends now and then (if it works). Need someone who can start in January. Thanks!
