A little bit about us

Hello! We are a family in Virginia Beach looking for a caring, dependable full-time nanny for our baby girl beginning in January 2027. She is due in late October 2026 and will be about 2–3 months old when care begins. I work from home and will be returning to work at the end of February.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (40 hours/week).

I work from a dedicated home office and am looking for someone who is comfortable providing independent, attentive care while I'm working. We also have a wonderful son who will be 10 years old. He is in school during the day, and this position is primarily for the baby. The only occasional help we may need with him is offering a snack after school.

We have two friendly Golden Retrievers and one cat. You would not be responsible for pet care, but should be comfortable working in a home with animals.

We're hoping to find someone who is nurturing, reliable, experienced with infants, and CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified). Responsibilities include feeding, diaper changes, naps, age-appropriate play, washing bottles, baby laundry, and keeping baby areas tidy.

We are looking for a long-term nanny and hope to find someone who will become an important part of our family. Ideally, we'd love for this to be a position that continues through our daughter's first two years before she transitions to preschool.

We look forward to hearing from you!

A little bit about us

Expecting our first baby in June, will need a nanny when I return to work in late July. My husband is switching to night shift so we need someone for 3-4 hours between when he goes to work and when I return home from work. 3-6pm M-T, 11am-6pm some Fridays-if my husband is required to work over time, their hours are different on Fridays. We have two large dogs, they are older and very easy going, low energy, and 1 cat that typically stays to herself. The most I would ask is to open the back door for my dogs to go outside. My son will of course be a newborn so sticking to his feeding/sleeping schedule and diaper changes will be the majority of what he needs, until he gets older and requires more interaction. I am hoping for someone CPR certified, reliable transportation, good communication skills, kindness.

A little bit about us

A happy, crazy, and loving toddler boy who we mainly need help with during the transition time during my job and my spouse. I work a rotating schedule from 7P-7A and my spouse is a firefighter and has rotation 24hour schedule. I would be able to tell the sitter our schedule well in advance. We would need the sitter to get to our house around 6am and we would get home around 8am. During this time we would need the nanny to get our boy up from his crib, dressed, and fed a small breakfast. As soon as I get home I would be able to take him to his normal daycare. We really need assistance in the transition hours of the morning.
