A little bit about us

I'm in the Navy working a rotating shift work, while my wife is staying a new job at the Norfolk jail, working over night. Our son just turned 1 in July and is relatively low maintenance. We also have 2 cats and a dog, so having someone that can take Colt will really help with letting us keep the house in order.

A little bit about us

I have 3 Amazingly energetic kids. Although I will be at home, I need to set aside time to get things done throughout the week while someone cares for the kids at a maximum of an hour and a half each day, mon-fri. My expectations are to care for the kids with no household duties. Maybe feed them lunch I've already prepared but mostly to hang out with them while I tend to things around the house and work on fitness.

My daughter is 14, a straight a student, plays on the junior varsity field hockey team, is a member of the operation smile club, and is currently running for student government.

My son is 16 he loves to skate, surf, snowboard, ride dirt bikes, play video games and hang out with his friends. He’s very smart, but school isn’t his priority. He’s needs a lot of structure to keep him focused.

I have full time custody of my son and 50/50 w my daughter. I need help in the afternoons and evenings supervising the house hold, preparing healthy snacks…. And watching them on weekend evenings and sometimes overnight. Need help w cleaning and w laundry. The kids are mostly self sufficient I just need a positive influence to keep a watchful eye and hopefully encourage them to try things outside their comfort zone. Playing games etc….

I’m a single dad and I love the same sports as my son and a few more. I’m a a general contractor and I build custom homes throughout coastal virginia and North Carolina. My schedule is flexible, so I work from home part time, but. I’m just trying to find a balance between having time for myself and my kids. I’m estimating that I will need 20-30 hours a week.
