A little bit about us
My husband works for the Mountain Brook Public School system and I work remotely as a counseling professor. Therefore, I would be home, however, I would be working in my office most of the day.
We do have two dogs in the home, who are very friendly and small-medium size and older. 1 is a 10-year-old miniature dachshund named Bell and the other is a 10-year-old beagle named Albus. They are sweet, but they can be noisy if you are familiar with those breeds. You would not be responsible for feeding, watering, or taking them to the restroom. If you would like to take them for a walk while you take our boy, you may, but it is not expected, and they can stay home. They will likely be in my office with me during the time you are in our home.
We are looking for someone to care for our son Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm, which would include keeping up with his feed and sleep schedule during the day and engaging in play. This would potentially begin January 4, 2027 and would end roughly at the end of May 28, 2027 when the Mountain Brook school system calendar ends. Should it work out, we would also be interested in having the same person come back August 2, 2027 through December 17, 2027.
