Duties
This position is for overall family and house assistance. The family includes myself, a single mother working full time from home, my 2 daughters age 5 and 9, and my somewhat elderly parents.
Afternoon nanny duties - school pick up, after school activities such as gymnastics, homework supervision
Housework duties - general upkeep daily, including dishes, trash, laundry, etc. detailed cleaning on a rotational basis
Personal Assistant type duties - grocery pickup and other similar errands
Assistance for my parents would be non medical in nature and might include carrying things they can’t handle, driving to appointments, etc


Hours
The intent is that this is a full time position consisting of 6-7 hours a day plus an agreed upon number of hours for night time sitting or overnights. Work requires me to be out of town overnight occasionally. Trips are known well in advance. Night time sitting will also be agreed upon in advance.

Ideally, daily hours will be from 11 to around 5 or 5:30. Before school lets out, dail household duties would be priority, followed by deeper cleaning. Afternoon nanny duties would start at school pickup time at 2:40.

Preferred Summer hours would be 8-4 Tuesday and Wednesday and 9-5 daily Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Any evening or overnight duties would be negotiated separately during summer months.
