A little bit about us

Looking for a full-time live-out nanny in DC to help care for our newborn. I will be returning to work in March (husband is already back at work), but looking for someone to begin in February. Our son will be 3 months old. Husband and I will be mostly in office during the week (sometimes working from home on Fridays) so we need a nanny that we can trust and depend on. Generally, besides just watching our son, we expect our nanny to help engage in age appropriate developmental activities, keep baby’s area tidy, occasionally do baby’s laundry, etc. We have 2 cats so comfort with cats is necessary, but nanny is not expected to be responsible for any tasks related to the cats.

Start date: February 2026
Location: Capitol Hill (walking distance from Union Station)
Schedule: M-F, 8 AM-4 PM (guaranteed 40 hours per week with likely overtime)

Requirements:
- Able to provide references
- Fluent in English
- Vaccinated
- Non-smoker
- CPR/first aid certified
