A little bit about us

Seeking a nanny for 4 nights/5 days to care for our children while we’re on vacation. We have 1 dog but our children are very good at caring for her. Our older 3 children are also very helpful with their younger siblings. We live on a mini farm. Our children are excellent at caring for the animals so that would not be part of your responsibilities. We would be looking for someone to get the kids up and off to school in the morning (youngest is put on the bus here at the house). Then in the afternoon get the youngest off the bus, and help with homework. Prepare dinner and get everyone off to bed on time.

A little bit about us

We are looking for a full-time nanny to care for our active and silly 2-year-old son for the next few years in Charlton, MA.

Our son loves being outside, sports (especially golf and basketball), looking for planes in the sky, playing in the kitchen, dancing, and splashing in water. He understands and speaks (at a 2 year old level) English and Portuguese.

My work schedule includes a mix of working from home and commuting to the office, so it is important that the nanny could start early (~6:30a) a couple days a week. It is also helpful if the nanny can work extra hours from time to time if we need to stay late at work or work on a weekend.

We’re looking for someone who is gentle, patient, and truly enjoys spending time with young children. It’s important to us that our nanny shares our values around kindness, diversity, and inclusion, and will help teach our son these things.

It is also helpful if the nanny is willing to take our son to activities, such as parks, libraries, gymnastics, etc. Therefore, the nanny must be comfortable safely driving with our son in the car (we will provide a car seat).

We have had a wonderful nanny for the past 1.5 years but she is moving soon, which is why we are looking for a new nanny. The start date is somewhat flexible, starting in October or September, but we would like to schedule a few trial days over the summer to ensure it’s a great fit for everyone and to help with the transition between nannies.

Hourly rate and schedule can be somewhat flexible.
