We are looking for a warm, professional, and highly reliable nanny to care for our 7-month-old. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys working with infants and can grow with our family.
The role will begin at 20–25 hours/week for the first 1–3 months, with a transition to full-time (30–40 hours/week).
Schedule & Environment:
• Monday–Friday, approximately 9am–2pm to start (some flexibility)
• One parent works from home; Grandparents often visiting (do not need support)
• We value a calm, respectful, and collaborative household
Responsibilities:
• Full infant care (feeding, naps, developmental play)
• Engaging the baby in age-appropriate, stimulating, screen-free activities
• Maintaining a screen-free environment for the baby and limiting personal phone use during working hours
• Baby laundry, bottles, and light baby-related tidying
Qualifications:
• Strong experience caring for infants under 1 year independently
• CPR & First Aid certified
• Non-smoker
• Up-to-date vaccinations preferred
• College degree or coursework in early childhood or related field preferred
• Dependable, communicative, and proactive
• Comfortable working both independently and alongside parents

Nanny coverage needs would be from 8:30am - 6pm (with some flexibility to stay late every so often)
8:30 - 3pm: Only the 2 year old is home (2.5 yo and 5 yo are in school)
3pm - 6pm: Coverage is for all 3 girls
Starting in January, the 2 year old will also be going to school and at that time, we'd like to keep you onboard to act as a "household manager" - Meal prep, errands, scheduling dr. appointments, laundry, keeping the house organized and tidy, etc. Then you would watch the girls after school, during sick days or school closures and in the summer.
Requirements:
Valid drivers license - must be able to drive girls to/from school and activities
Previous experience in childcare preferably with children of different ages
CPR/First Aid or willing to get certified
Excellent Communication, patience and ability to adapt to changing schedules
Strong Creative and Organizational Skills

My husband and I are both graphic designers that work in book publishing in Manhattan. We have two adorable whippets as well. We enjoy the Montessori teaching, and are looking for someone who is safe, patient, smart and informative, engaging, and loving. It is also a plus if you have a car and also have been CPR and infant certified.
We are open to both a nanny or a nanny share if they are very close to us. Our hours and days are currently negotiable.
