The ideal candidate has experience caring for infants, understands age-appropriate developmental milestones, and is committed to providing a safe, engaging, and loving environment. We are looking for someone who will support our daughter’s growth through interactive play, tummy time, reading, outdoor walks, and other developmentally appropriate activities.
We would especially love to find a bilingual nanny who is fluent in Spanish, Mandarin, or Portuguese and has experience introducing a second language to infants through daily conversation, songs, books, play, and other natural learning opportunities. While bilingualism is not required, it is a strong preference.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing attentive, loving care for our infant
* Following and maintaining a consistent feeding, nap, and daily routine
* Supporting healthy sleep habits and independent sleep practices
* Engaging in age-appropriate developmental activities
* Introducing language-rich interactions throughout the day, including reading, singing, and conversation
* Preparing bottles and washing bottle/pump parts as needed
* Keeping nursery and play areas tidy
* Communicating regularly about daily activities, feedings, naps, and milestones
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior infant care experience
* Experience fostering early language development and/or bilingual learning
* Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, or Portuguese preferred
* CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Reliable transportation
* Non-smoker
